Florida Dealer Adds New Georgia Warehouse

(Akron/Tire Review) Earlier this year, Barron’s Wholesale Tire Inc. opened its new corporate headquarters and warehouse in Jacksonville, Fla.

Founded in 1989 by David Barron, the company recently opened its ninth warehouse facility, this one located in Savannah, Ga.

Barron officials said the new Georgia warehouse will allow his company to expand its delivery area from Darien to Vidalia, as far north as Augusta, and gives it the ability to reach customers in South Carolina, as well. Barron’s Wholesale Tire is hosting a grand opening event this month.

“Its all about taking care of the customer,” said Barron. “We live and work in an on-demand society and have tailored our business as such with features like hot shot delivery, transfer schedules five days a week, top-notch CSR department and a live e-commerce Web site.

“This is just one more step in our long-term strategic plan to continue to enhance our facilities and make the technological advancements necessary to offer a complete line of quality tires along with a level of customer service unsurpassed in the industry,” he said.
