The Himalaya SUV, which fits a wide range of today’s popular and luxury sports utility vehicles, features a square tread block pattern and a newly developed silica compound to increase grip. A longitudinal groove pattern delivers increased traction and straight line stability on snowy pavement, while a ladder-shaped slope design along the groove allows slush to be evacuated, Federal said.
The T-speed rated Himalaya SUV is available in sizes ranging from 16 to 18 inches in diameter, with aspect ratios from 55 to 70 series, according to the company. (Tire Review/Akron)
