Eighth CITExpo Wraps Up

The eighth edition of China International Tire Expo was completed on Sept. 10. Organized by Reliable International Exhibition Services Co., the three-day event saw 300 exhibitors occupying 20,000 square meters of exhibition area in Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center. Three exhibition halls were taken up this year in order to accommodate the increased number of exhibitors, according to Reliable.

Besides the major Chinese manufacturers, foreign brands’ representatives and other suppliers, the exhibitors also included the worldwide suppliers from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Korea, Republic of Belarus, India, Australia, The Netherlands, Italy, Singapore, China, Taiwan and other countries and regions. Some familiar names such as Cooper Tire, Austyre, Guizhou, Techking,Taiwan Nankang, Hoffman from Germany, Cemb and Butler from Italy had taken large booths showcasing their latest products. The organizer claimed a recording-breaking number of 7,200 visitors from 92 countries and 32 Chinese provinces and regions attended this year’s show.

The next edition of CITExpo will be held in the same venue Sept. 7-9 in 2011. For more information, visit www.citexpo.com.cn.
