Philadelphia police are after two men accused of assaulting an elderly customer during a botched robbery of a local tire dealership.
The July 13 mid-day robbery, according to police, had the two men enter the ADL Tire Co. through the service area, brandishing semi-automatic handguns. A 78-year-old man was struck in the head with a gun by one of the suspects.
The man was hospitalized with head injuries.
Both suspects reportedly fled the scene on foot, but did not take anything.
