As of July 2011, Conti360° Fleet Services has extended its European coverage into Austria.

This is the first addition to the tiremaker’s service portfolio following its launch in eight core European markets – Belgium, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, Spain and the Czech Republic – and Continental now has plans to further expand the network into other regions.

“Globalization, expansion of business areas – in geographical terms, too – along with company mergers and changing customer requirements are making Conti360° Fleet Services increasingly interesting,” commented Kurt Bergmüller, who is repsonsible for Continental’s fleet services in the Austrian market. With the aid of Conti360° Fleet Services, Bergmüller and his team from Continental/Semperit will support Austrian-based transport companies both at home and when travelling in other European countries.

In 2011 and 2012, Conti360° Fleet Services will also be introduced in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Hungary. The coming year will also see the initial launch of Continental’s all-round fleet service in the Asia-Pacific region.
