A group of men assaulted and stabbed a young man working at a Brooklyn, N.Y., tire shop, but were scared off by an off-duty corrections officer who happened to be passing by.
The 18-year-old tire shop employee was outside the Monday Tire Shop storefront changing a tire when at least three men jumped him, stabbing him in the back. The assault occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on July 27.
The assault ended when the off-duty state corrections officer saw the attack and shot his gun in the air, reports said.
Reports said the young man suffered a broken jaw and stab wounds.
