Bolt On Technology has launched its latest update for tire dealers to track labor time with “Time Clock” for Mobile Manager Pro.
“Labor time efficiency is a crucial component of a shop’s productivity,” said Mike Risich, Bolt On Technology founder and CEO. “It is important to know how long a job is billed for, and how long it takes for the technician to complete it. To help shops with this process, we have integrated the time clock feature into our Mobile Manager Pro software.”
According to the company, the new feature will accurately credit technicians with their actual labor time and keep track of technicians’ labor time to help dealers run productivity reports and manage the shop’s overall labor margin.
Using the tool, technicians can clock in and out of assigned labor items from a tablet they use to perform digital inspections. Additionally, other technicians can be clocked into other line items on the same work order, the company adds.
When a technician clocks out the time recorded is transferred into the shop management system.
