Becker Tire Wins First ASA Tire Systems’ Dealer Award

Becker Tire and Treading of Great Bend, Kan., was named “Dealer of the Year” by ASA Tire Systems.

The award was announced at ASA Tire Systems’ annual customer conference InfoExpo, held last month in Newport Beach, Calif.

Dealer of the Year nominations were made by ASA account managers and voted on by all ASA staffers. Nominees were judged based on business success, overcoming adversity, community relations, volunteer work, employee satisfaction, charity and technology adoption.

“The Dealer of the Year Award is another way that all of the ASA staff can recognize and thank our outstanding customers for their progressive thinking, their continued commitment to their employees, their communities and the industry, and their profitable use of ASA technology,” said Wayne Croswell, ASA Tire Systems president.

Finalists included Boulevard Tire of Florida, Country Tire of Nebraska, Express Tire of California and Noyes Automotive and Tire of Vermont.

GRI recently conducted programs in Sri Lanka to empower women and motivate children under its Green x Circle initiative. The company said these endeavors aimed to address the needs of the community, focusing on both women empowerment and youth motivation.

GRI recently organized a training program titled "Management of household finance under current economic conditions" at the Ingiriya Rubber Collecting Center in Sri Lanka, South Asia led by Shashika Nimali, an NLP practitioner and life coach. The company said this initiative provided women in the industry with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage household finances. GRI's tailored training sessions equipped participants with tools for informed decision-making, ultimately fostering greater financial security and independence, the company said.
