Automechanika has added India to its range of international trade fairs. With ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, which will take place Feb. 7-10, 2013, Messe Frankfurt will be offering access to the much talked about Indian market.
The fair will be held in Pragati Maiden. Member of Messe Frankfurt’s executive board, Detlef Braun explained, "In ACMA, we have found a partner who will make our new Automechanika in New Delhi into a leading event for the sector in the region. Moreover, the association will help us to get our portfolio of Automechanika fairs better known among its members."
ACMA represents over 600 companies, which together constitute the lion’s share of the total production of motor vehicle components in India. On the internal market they deliver to vehicle manufacturers, direct suppliers, state-owned vehicle operators, defense institutions, the railways and the spare parts market. Additionally, a variety of components are exported to OEMs worldwide and to the after-market.
Raj Manek, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, added, "ACMA will recruit exhibitors from India, above all, its own members, and make contact with trade and professional visitors from India, whilst Messe Frankfurt India is responsible for attracting international exhibitors and visitors. Messe Frankfurt India and ACMA will present Indian manufacturers of motor vehicle components and similar companies to an international audience via the network of Automechanika fairs, particularly within the framework of a special exhibition by ACMA members at the Frankfurt fair, as well as at other international Automechanika fairs."
