Alliance Tire has released a pair of new products into its agricultural range.
The company is already well-known for its flotation tires, including the 380 series. Alliance also produces the 380 Heavy Duty, a tire it says incorporates the existing tire’s known characteristics, including a fabric casing reinforced by steel belts, yet modified to make it suitable for the heaviest of applications, such as slurry tankers and dump trailers for soil and sand transport.
Inflation pressure has been raised to 5 bar and load capacities increased. The casing has been strengthened by additional ply and tire stiffness increased both radially and laterally. Furthermore, the 380 Heavy Duty’s bead bundle has been designed in accordance to new higher load and inflation pressure.
The new tire’s non-directional tread pattern is designed to enable equal traction and steering capability when driven forwards or backwards. In addition, Alliance reports the 380 Heavy Duty provides excellent machine stability; comfortable ride, good machine mobility, efficient self-cleaning and traction, and outstanding overall performance on the road.
Sidewall construction is intended to facilitate high-side machine stability and tilt characteristics, while steel breakers are included to prevent punctures and enable uniform ground pressure distribution.
The 380 Heavy Duty, initially available in size 620/40R22.5, is now also produced in size 650/55R26.5.
The second addition to the Alliance agricultural line-up is the 350 Row Crop in size 380/90R54. This well-established narrow section width, high aspect ratio product is already available approximately 40 sizes, and is suitable for row crop farming operations such as tillage, cultivation, harvesting and spraying applications. These specialized tires, comments Alliance, give the farmer the advantage of higher yields, as the 350 Row Crop can between the valuable crop without damaging the plant and root. (Tyres & Accessories)
