Al Saeedi Group, a leading Middle Eastern tire distributor, has expanded its operations into Uganda.
The UAE-based company set up Tyrexpress Ltd. on Apr. 13, and the company was inaugurated by Niraj Srivastava, high commissioner of India, in the presence of company directors, distinguished guests and customers.
According to the company, Tyrexpress is placed in a strategic location on Jinja road in the Ugandan capital Kampala. The site is said to feature “a sprawling showroom displaying a wide range of tires.” The service center, which is attached to the showroom, has state-of-the-art tire changers for passengers cars, 4X4, truck, agricultural and OTR tires; not to mention wheel balancers for truck, passenger and light commercial tires – including a 3-D wheel aligner.
Tyrexpress stocks tire brands such as JK Tyres, Altura, Solideal and Aufine tires, offering a similar range to the premium brands and international brands such as Solideal (solid, pneumatic and industrial), Neuton (passenger car and 4×4 tyres), Maitech OTR radials, Aufine truck tires and Altura that parent company Al Saeedi carries.
