Attendees of the 2013 Aftermarket eForum, set for May 22-23 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill., can stay connected to the event by downloading the eForum app to their smartphones and tablet devices from www.eventmobi.com/eforum.
The Aftermarket eForum app provides access to the registered attendees, sponsors and presenters through the app directory. Users will have the latest details of the agenda and be able to book appointments and reminders through the app. During the conference, audience polls and surveys will be utilized via the app, connecting speakers and attendees more interactively than ever before. Traditional paper evaluation forms are being replaced with immediate feedback by way of the mobile app. Attendees are encouraged to create profiles in the app to maximize networking at the eForum.
“eForum is a showcase for innovative technologies that address business challenges in the aftermarket,” said Scott Luckett, CIO of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association and eForum planning chairman. “By utilizing a mobile event application, we are taking advantage of the latest technology to get attendees better connected with one another and the speakers while saving a lot of paper and printing expense.”
Logistics, supply chain, telematics, e-commerce and the challenges of globalization are the topics that will be addressed by experts and leaders from Delphi, UPS, Vehcon Telematics and eBay Motors. Registration is available to AAIA members for $450 and $650 to non-members.
eForum is co-located with the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS). Participants can register for both events and save $250. A rate of $177 is available from the Hyatt Regency O’Hare for eForum and GAAS attendees for rooms booked by April 19.
