The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) will hold its 12th annual Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing at the Colonia Country Club in Colonia, N.J., on August 29.
The event pays tribute to former AASP/NJ member Lou Scoras and raises money for a scholarship in his name for the next generation of automotive technicians.
This year, the event has been moved from May to August in order to allow more time after AASP/NJ’s 40th Annual Northeast 2017 Automotive Services Show.
“We always get a great turnout, not only for the golf but also for the cause,” said Charles Bryant, AASP/NJ executive director. “Lou meant so much to a lot of people and did so much for this industry that I think people like to come out and pay tribute just as much as they like to play.”
Registration for the Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing starts at 10:00 a.m. with lunch served at 11:30 and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. The tournament will conclude with a cash bar, dinner and prizes. To register for the event, visit aaspnj.org.
