Sumitomo Tires Gets CD 'Best Buy' Nod

The Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 all-season performance tire recently received a ‘Best Buy’ designation by Consumers Digest.

According to Consumers Digest, the tires noted as ‘Best Buys’ were selected based on performance, features, expected treadlife and warranty.

The Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 earned its marker in the economy touring car tire category, and the magazine said the tire was “a remarkable value among tires that are in this price range. We found that it generates less noise and delivers better comfort, grip, handling and winter traction than do models that cost $25 more.”

The HTR A/S line, which has a 65,000- or 40,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, depending on size, comes in 58 sizes covering 14- to 18-inch wheel diameters and H, V and W speed ratings.

The company said this initiative provided women in the industry with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage household finances. GRI's tailored training sessions equipped participants with tools for informed decision-making, ultimately fostering greater financial security and independence, the company said.
