American Tire Distributors formally opened its new distribution center and a new redistribution facility in Chicago.  

The 98,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution center is located in suburban McCook, Ill., and will service tire and wheel retailers in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

The redistribution facility, located near the new DC, in McCook, encompasses over 135,000 square feet and will supply products to ATD’s distribution centers in the central U.S., including recently opened facilities in Cincinnati and Indianapolis.

“This new distribution center will provide dealers in and around Chicago with a broad array of products and brands coupled with the high level of service we strive to provide our customers,” said Bill Berry, president and CEO of ATD. “The redistribution facility is another example of ATD’s commitment to build its operational strength and customer base in the Midwest and Great Lakes sections of the country.”
