Following the news that former Goodyear Dunlop UK managing director Mark Brickhill has been promoted to the position of vice president of the company’s consumer business unit in Europe, Goodyear Dunlop EMEA has released further details of the recent changes in the businesses European management.
In order to “capitalize on building a more efficient organization,” the company has established a new position ro oversee Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations (GDTO) and the Luxembourg complex. Philippe Degeer, previously vice president of the consumer business unit, has been appointed to the position of vice president of Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations. Degeer will continue to report to Arthur De Bok, who remains president Goodyear EMEA.
Degeer will hold management responsibility for total GDTO and the Luxembourg complex, and be responsible for leading the unit’s “complexity reduction project.”
Meanwhile, Paul Joosten, marketing director for consumer tires and motorsport, has been appointed general manager Benelux. He replaces George Rietbergen, who takes over as UK & Ireland managing director. He will be based in Kontich and will report to De Bok. (Tyres & Accessories)
