Goodyear claims such limitations belong in the past, and adds this is demonstrated by the latest Goodyear RunOnFlat OE approval. For the coming winter season Rolls Royce, manufacturer of some of the world’s most comfortable cars, will equip its Phantom with the UltraGrip Performance 2 in size 255/50R21 106H ROF *RSC.

A further advantage of the current generation Goodyear RunOnFlat tyres is that, thanks to new developments in rubber compound mixing, they offer the same rolling resistance and fuel consumption as that of normal tyres.
