Marangoni Constructs 63-inch Retreading Machine

Marangoni Tyre Machinery, the Marangoni Group division that deals with the construction of advanced machinery for the tire industry, has completed the construction of the Trio Super 63-inch machine for retreading large size EM tires, up to and including 63 inches.

The Trio Super 63 can rapidly peel, buff and groove the top range of earthmover tires, ensuring their maximum geometric stability thanks to the ability to fit the tyres being processed on robust flanges and inflate these during manufacturing, Marangoni said.

Working through the company Marangoni Meccanica, based in Rovereto, Italy, Marangoni Tyre Machinery produces machinery for the construction of new large-sized radial tires, using advanced proprietary solutions and incorporating strip winding systems from the renowned Alpha line, according to the company.

Introduced in 2002, the specific range – called Fast – offered by Marangoni Meccanica in the new tire manufacturing machinery sector includes: CarFast for the production of radial car tires; TruckFast for the production of radial truck tires; AgriFast for the production of radial agriculture tires; EmFast for the production of radial EM tires; and SolidFast for industrial tires.

"Marangoni Meccanica is the technological ‘antenna’ of the Marangoni Group,” said Edoardo Salaorni, Tyre Machinery Division commercial director. “Marangoni Tyre Machinery’s mission is innovation of processes and machinery for the tire industry, through continuous research and a qualified technical staff specialising in the application of new information technologies and the use of new materials.” (Tire Review/Akron)
