According to the Car Care Council, tire dealers and repair shop owners are sometimes reluctant to host these events because they don’t know what to expect. The council’s new DVD/CD walks viewers through the entire process.
However, vehicle check-ups are only the start of National Car Care Month activities, the group suggests. Special events can include educational seminars, a media blitz and more. The DVD/CD includes additional resource materials, such as sample press releases to educate consumers, a guide to hosting successful car care clinics, camera-ready advertisements and radio spots. It even provides information on the Right to Repair Act.
The DVD provides useful ideas and information for all owners of service facilities, as well as jobbers, retail stores owners, warehouse distributors and others whose businesses depend upon consumers becoming more car care aware.
