Falken Announces Limited Price Increases

(Akron/Tire Review) Falken Tire Corp. announced a limited price increase, effective May 1.

The increase will impact select sizes of Falken’s S/TZ04 and Ziex 60- and 65-series tires.

Prices on Falken ZE512 in 60- and 65-series will increase 3% to 5%, while prices for both the LandAir H/T and Radial A/P will increase 5% to 7%.

Prices on select Falken S/TZ04 tires will increase 5% to 7%, based on size. Impacted will be sizes LT235/75R15 104/101Q, 255/70R16 109S, 265/70R16 111S, P235/70R16 104S, 245/70R16 106S, 215/70R16 99S, 255/65R16 106S, 245/75R16 109S, 265/70R15 110S, 265/70R17 113T and 255/55R18 109H.

At one of its South Florida NTW distribution centers, as well as TBC Corp.'s Palm Beach Gardens corporate offices, TBC employees recently had the opportunity to show their children the ins and outs of the company's role in the tire industry during "Take Your Child to Work Day." The kids had a jam-packed day learning about tires, taking photos, doing media research, and even eating lunch with the company's new CEO, Don Byrd.
