Aston Martin Picks Bridgestone for New Vantage

(Akron/Tire Review) Aston Martin has selected the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A for OE position on its new V8 Vantage.

The tire, which has also been fitted on Aston Martin’s DB9, will be available in two sizes for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage – 235/45R18 (front) and 275/40R18 (rear) and 235/40R19 (front) and 275/35R19 (rear).

“It is very encouraging that Aston Martin has chosen our Potenza tires for this stunning new sports car,” said Didier Schneider, vice president of OE sales for Bridgestone Europe. “Like the DB9 before it, the V8 Vantage is a powerful and stylish car that requires its tires to provide optimal grip and comfort levels, so the Potenza RE050A is the perfect choice.”
