WIX Filters Wins Supplier of the Year Award

(Akron/Tire Review) For the second consecutive year, WIX Filters received the Supplier of the Year Award from Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance during its annual banquet in Boca Raton, Fla., on Dec. 5.

The 2006 Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Supplier of the Year award recognizes WIX as an outstanding major supplier and a valued and appreciated partner in the success of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.

Bill Sheehan, vice president of sales at WIX Filters, accepted the award on behalf of the company. While presenting the award, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance President Dick Morgan said: “We are pleased to recognize WIX Filters as a strong business partner who shares our commitment to exceptional customer service, mutual growth and shareholder value. WIX earned this recognition from our shareholders due to their excellent support for the growth of our members’ filter businesses.”

Joining Sheehan and Washbish onstage to receive the award from Morgan and Eli Futerman, chairman of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, were: Terry McCormack, president and CEO, Affinia Group; Jeff Stauffer, senior vice president for global group marketing, Affinia Group; and Don Reimondo, senior vice president of customer relationship management, Affinia Group.
