Called Remote Hosting Solution (RHS), the program is hosted by JMK as an "application service provider," and allows tire dealers to take advantage of some or all of the software’s capabilities.
“Smart dealers already know what they need in computer software to run their style of business, but are faced with the choice of either buying into a high-priced system with all the right features coupled along with lots of others that will never be used, or buying a low cost system lacking needed features,” said Jim Krakower, director of system development. “And they don’t want to have to have an in-house computer expert to keep everything running or a closet full of spare and perennially obsolete hardware.”
JMK’s RHS system allows dealers to choose the modules they want for their business, and access them over the Internet from work stations at the sales counter or back office, JMK said. The system includes tire/service specific information management tools, 24/7/365 application/system software support, nightly database backup, electronic data transfer options and pricing base on use.
