Penetrant-Maker Opens Rusted Nuts Hall of Fame

Service technicians have all faced badly corroded fasteners, and now they can earn some recognition – and money – for their troubles.

Free All Deep Penetrating Oil has launched its “Rusted Nuts Hall of Fame,” an online site that recognizes technicians for all of the hard work consumers often don’t realize is involved in a typical repair.

Located at freealloil.com, the hall of fame also encourages technicians to avoid using torches and hammers on corroded fasteners in favor of its Free All formula.

Technicians can take a digital photo of the tough fasteners they face, send them to Free All and possibly earn a $50 gift card.

Each month, Federal Process, maker of Free All, will post all qualified entries to the “Rusted Nuts” gallery and choose an inductee to the hall of fame. To qualify for entry into the monthly hall of fame awards program, submissions must include technician name, business name and contact information. Submissions must be made in digital format and be emailed to: [email protected]. One $50 retail gift card will be rewarded each month to a qualified inductee. The technician submitting the year’s best photo will be awarded a $250 retailer gift card. (Tire Review/Akron)
