The company adds its name to a growing list of organisations from both within and outside the tyre industry to sign up to support organisation’s tyre safety activities.
“We have been impressed with the impact that TyreSafe has had in the area of tyre safety an area important to the Toyo sales & marketing programme. And so we felt that we should offer our own help and support to raising the awareness of this vital road safety subject,” said Martin Sutherland, Toyo Tyre’s general manager of sales.
The company’s decision to support TyreSafe comes only a month after the declarations of support from Yokohama, Group Tyre and tyre inflation equipment manufacturer PCL. Each of these companies will participate in TyreSafe’s programme of tyre safety activity planned for this year, including the second tyre safety month campaign, to be held in October.
