Nitto Adds Luxury Touring Tire Exclusive for ATD

Nitto Tire has partnered with American Tire Distributors (ATD) to produce its first luxury touring tire, the NT850 Premium.

Introduced last week during a special event for media and tire dealers, the NT850 Premium, said Nitto, extends its lineup to include direct replacement tires for luxury sedans.

Nitto said the tire will be sold exclusively through ATD’s independent tire dealer network, and will be backed by a nationwide marketing campaign that includes in-store displays and print and online advertising.

“This new line of Nitto-branded touring tires will be very appealing to our dealers,” said Ron Sinclair, ATD senior vice president of marketing. “The Nitto NT850 Premium is an extremely well-engineered product offering, covering many key luxury sedan sizes and, given the tire will be offered exclusively by American Tire Distributors, will not be a product sold on every street corner.”

The NT850 Premium is now available in nine extra load sizes that fit a wide range of compact-, mid- and full-sized luxury sedans. The V-rated tire has a UTQG rating of 500 AAA.

Available sizes include 215/55R17 98V XL, 225/55R17 101V XL, 215/50R17 95V XL, 225/50R17 98V XL, 205/50R17 93V XL, 225/45R17 94V XL, 235/45R17 97V XL, 235/55R18 104V XL, and 235/60R18 107V XL.
