The European Commission, the EU’s regulator in Brussels, announced the approval in an e-mailed statement today.
It said the project is aimed at extending the existing plant of Pirelli and introducing new innovative products and should safeguard 900 jobs in the Piemonte region. (Tire Review/Akron)
