East Bay Tire Co. has opened a new commercial service center on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
Located in Kahului, the service center is the company’s fourth service location in Hawaii and 13th commercial service location nationwide. East Bay Tire also has a retread plant in Honolulu and service centers on Oahu and the Big Island.
“Expansion in Hawaii has proven challenging at times, but as a community cornerstone we have come to understand the nuance of doing business in Hawaii and that it is much more than selling a product or service,” said Jay Ress, East Bay Tire general manager and head of Hawaii operations. “It is about being an active player driving economic growth for the entire state.”
East Bay Tire Co. is based in Fairfield, Calif., and has served California and Hawaii for more than 70 years.
