Those interested in attending the Tire Industry Association (TIA)’s second Automotive Tire Service (ATS) Advanced Instructor Training Course for women only have until Sept. 21, 2016, to register. Additionally, the hotel room block expires Sept. 14.
The women’s only Certified ATS Instructor Program will be hosted Oct. 4-7 in Denver.
After successfully completing the 4-day in-depth classroom and hands-on class, participants will be certified to train technicians back at their own dealerships to prepare them for certification.
The course includes safety guidelines and step-by-step procedures for all aspects of passenger and light truck tire service including wheel installation with the proper torque and tire repair. Additionally, participants will have a full day of instruction on Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
