New Pirelli Calendar Website Highlights History, Cal 2017

Pirelli_New-Calendar_WebPirelli has launched a new website dedicated to the Pirelli Calendar – pirellicalendar.com – to showcase the overall calendar history and creative process of the new edition.

The website will include films, photographs and exclusive interviews on the 50 year plus history of the Pirelli Calendar. Additionally, the website will feature “Behind The Scenes: Making of The Cal” – a behind the scenes look at the new calendar photographed by Peter Lindbergh that follows the 2017 edition from birth to its unveiling at the end of November.

More content on the 2017 Pirelli Calendar will be added in coming weeks, and next week, the names of the stars of the new calendar edition will be revealed with the first backstage shots.

Other sections of the website include “Icons,” which features interviews with representatives of art, culture, entertainment, fashion, sport and music worlds, and “Stories,” which focuses on the stories, mysteries and initiatives of the calendar linked to art.

For a historical look at the calendar, the “Time Machine” section offers a virtual journey through the 43 editions of the calendar with images, comments and backstage videos.
