Thieves Take $65,000 in Tires from Ky. Dealership

Roughly $65,000 worth of tires was stolen over Memorial Day weekend from a tire dealership near Owensboro, Ky.

The theft at Bobby’s Tire and Trailer – which was caught on video by a surveillance camera – involved one of two Enterprise Rent-a-Car box trucks authorities believe were stolen Evansville, Ind.

According to local reports, the video shows two thieves wearing masks and black hoodies sorting through trailers looking for tires. The pair, who reportedly stole more than 300 tires worth at least $65,000, returned on consecutive nights and stayed for more than four hours, reports state.

Both stolen trucks were recovered – one near the dealership in Owensboro and one in Evansville – but they both were empty.

The company said this initiative provided women in the industry with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage household finances. GRI's tailored training sessions equipped participants with tools for informed decision-making, ultimately fostering greater financial security and independence, the company said.
