Manny Cicero Officially CEO of Triangle Tire USA

MannyCiceroLongtime tire industry executive Manny Cicero has been officially named CEO of Triangle Tire USA, the recently formed U.S. subsidiary of global tiremaker Triangle Tyre Group Ltd.

China’s largest privately owned tire manufacturer, Triangle Tyre announced plans in November to establish a U.S. headquarters in Franklin, Tenn., located just south of Nashville in Williamson County. Cicero worked with Triangle Tyre to secure the location, and it was reported that he had accepted the CEO position.

Triangle Tire USA will market and sell medium/heavy truck tires, OTR radial tires, and passenger and light truck tires, including ultra high performance, winter and specialty trailer tires.

Cicero, who has held executive positions with Bridgestone/Firestone Off-Road Tire Co., Denman Rubber, and Alliance Tire Group, will head up Triangle Tyre Group’s U.S. operations.

“With his considerable experience in all segments of the tire industry and proven management skills, we consider Manny to be the ideal choice to head our efforts in the all-important U.S. tire market,” said Ding Yuhua, chairman of Triangle Tyre Group. “We look forward to establishing strategic, long-term relationships with key U.S. tire distributors and dealers, working closely with them to provide high-quality, technologically advanced tires to American consumers and business owners.”
