Goodyear Adds Mass. Commercial Tire & Service Center

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co has opened another Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center, located in Stoughton, Mass., to give fleets greater access to the company’s Total Solution of tires, services and information tools.

Spanning 17,000 sq. ft. and featuring two dedicated truck service bays, the Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center in Stoughton offers: new Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly brand medium truck tires; Goodyear retreads, including those that contain Goodyear UniCircle Technology; Goodyear-Fleet HQ Emergency Roadside Service; truck tire balancing service and more.

The Stoughton location follows recent openings of Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers in Seattle, Wash.; Chesapeake, Va.; Dearborn, Mich.; Garland, Texas; and Montgomery, Ala.

SRNA introduces new field engineer manager

Sumitomo Rubber North America (SRNA), a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, has promoted Eduardo Chariarse to field engineer manager. According to SRNA, Chariarse has extensive experience in his field, working as a commercial truck field engineer in the tire industry for the past 21 years. Joining SRNA in 2021 as a field engineer, he has been responsible for the coordination, implementation, and reporting of tire evaluations, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to fleets, dealers and the sales team.
