The National Catalog Managers Association awarded Federal-Mogul Motorparts the 2015 President’s Gold Award for its Garage Gurus app.
The annual award recognizes the best examples of printed and electronic catalogs and related product research tools used in the auto care industry.

Launched in conjunction with Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ Tech First initiative, the Garage Gurus app enables users of iPhone and Android devices to access the latest Federal-Mogul Motorparts parts information and technical support and communicate detailed inspection findings – including photos and repair estimate –to the vehicle owner. The app includes VIN scanning and license plate to VIN technology that can capture vehicle information and link the user to all corresponding parts and repair information, according to the company.
