Compton, Calif.-based Rovince Tire has big plans for growth and expansion in 2015. The five-year-old firm specializes in solid pneumatic, press-on-band, and solid construction tires, and said it posted a 32% growth in revenue and improved marketshare in 2014.
The U.S. importer has its tire lines produced in Sri Lanka from its own designs. Rovince Tire said its products are “made to U.S. specifications, using U.S. technology, and U.S. quality control procedures.”
The company recently committed $2 million to “further strengthen” its Sri Lanka manufacturing facilities and “strengthen existing distribution networks in North America.” The company has also invested in a new tire line. Rovince Tires’ Greentread Eco+ solid tires “will use a much more eco friendlier process minimizing carbon footprint, we can issue further details once development stages are complete,” said managing director Devaka Cooray.
“Our customers have placed great trust on our products and we are deeply committing ourselves in providing a well-engineered tire that is both economical and superior comparative to the standard competition,” said Cooray.
Rovince Tire offers Summa HD and Summa Plus brands for indoor and outdoor fork lift applications, as well as for port equipment and skid-steer loaders.
