Bridgestone Americas Commercial Solutions Taps New Head of Marketing

Marshall-Hyzdu-BridgestoneBridgestone Americas Commercial Solutions appointed Marshall Hyzdu its new head of marketing for the commercial tire division. As vice president of Bridgestone Americas’ commercial tire division, Hyzdu will lead marketing initiatives for OTR and commercial truck and bus tire products, including Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag and Dayton brands.

“We are fortunate to add Marshall’s many talents and rich experience to our team at BATO,” said Philip Dobbs, chief marketing officer for Bridgestone Americas. “Under his leadership, we are confident that the commercial division will continue to grow, meeting and anticipating customer needs and moving Bridgestone forward as an industry leader.”

Hyzdu’s background in marketing for global brands includes clients such as Valvoline and Kraft Foods. Hyzdu led global product strategy for Valvoline. At Kraft for more than six years, Hyzdu led brand management for several of the company’s brands, including Kraft Singles, Breakstone’s, Knudsen, Polly-O, Athenos and more. Additionally, Hyzdu was an analyst at UBS Investment Bank and a brand manager at Vector Marketing Corp.

Hyzdu earned a Master of Business Administration from the Michigan (Ross) Business School in Ann Arbor, Mich., and an undergraduate degree in history and psychology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
