Hunter Engineering Co. announced two new collet kit products: a medium-duty collet kit that provides centering for all medium-duty assemblies with just five major pieces; and a standard collet kit that features five double-sided collets.

The medium-duty kit comes with a single flange plate designed to fit all medium-duty lug configurations, which allows techs to use the same mounting process on every assembly, Hunter said. The kit also comes with a new, comprehensive application chart to ensure proper mounting, reducing wheel damage and customer comebacks.

The standard collet set uses a low-taper design to improve centering, reducing comebacks due to vibration complaints, according to the company. Featuring a split-taper design, Hunter added its collet kit helps protect plastic clad wheels from damage, improving customer satisfaction. All collets are coated in black-oxide to resist rust.
