Ben Brucato will serve as director of membership and sponsorship of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), a division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association, effective Oct. 13.

In his role Brucato is responsible for membership recruitment and retention as well as recruitment of affiliate and associate members and sponsorships of AASA events and special programs.

“Ben brings us a great perspective from his career at automotive aftermarket suppliers, which gives an invaluable, first-hand perspective to AASA’s membership programs and new member recruitment,” said Bill Long, AASA president and chief operating officer.

Previously, Brucato served as field sales manager at UCI-Fram Group. He has also worked for Airtex Products and Tire Kingdom.
