Permatex Names Communications Manager

Permatex tapped Courtney Riley, graphic/multimedia designer at Permatex since 2006, as its new MarCom manager.

As MarCom manager, Riley will be responsible for managing overall marketing communications, including new product introductions, advertising campaigns, promotional support programs, marketing research, and trade shows, said Sean Lyon, director of marketing and product management for Permatex.

In the role, Riley will also be responsible for managing the marketing department’s budget, be the primary point of contact for Permatex’s public relations and advertising agencies, manage and develop content for the Permatex website, and create marketing communications materials to help support the sales teams, among other responsibilities.

Riley holds a Master’s Degree in Interactive Media from Quinnipiac University and Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Keene State College. She is also a recipient of multiple awards from the American Graphic Design and American Inhouse Design.

GRI recently conducted programs in Sri Lanka to empower women and motivate children under its Green x Circle initiative. The company said these endeavors aimed to address the needs of the community, focusing on both women empowerment and youth motivation.

GRI recently organized a training program titled "Management of household finance under current economic conditions" at the Ingiriya Rubber Collecting Center in Sri Lanka, South Asia led by Shashika Nimali, an NLP practitioner and life coach. The company said this initiative provided women in the industry with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage household finances. GRI's tailored training sessions equipped participants with tools for informed decision-making, ultimately fostering greater financial security and independence, the company said.
