The Tire Industry Association will continue to accept nominations for the 2014 Tire Industry Hall of Fame through July 7.

The HOF is open to all individuals in the tire industry and may be awarded posthumously.

Inductees are chosen based upon their contributions of new ideas, practices and innovations that promote the well-being of the tire industry, their service to the industry and the resect of their peers. Civic, cultural, educational and charitable endeavors will be considered, but are not a primary consideration.

“The Hall of Fame Committee is looking forward to choosing another select group of individuals to induct this year. If you know someone who has made significant contributions to the industry, we encourage you to submit a nomination,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.

A nomination form is available for download or by emailing [email protected] or calling Donna Sage at 301-430-7280, ext. 102.

The Hall of Fame inductions are hosted during the Tire Industry Honors Awards Ceremony on Nov. 3 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas prior to the Global Tire Expo. For more information, visit www.tireindustry.org.
