The Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo’s organizer will bring the Latin American show to the U.S. under the name “World Tire & Retread Expo.” The event is scheduled for April 15-17, 2015, and will take place in New Orleans.
The announcement was made in Essen by Gustavo Lima, CEO of Oriente Triangle Group and the Latin Expo Group. The World Tire & Retread Expo will be a “show and sell, not show and tell” trade show, according to the show’s website.
“[North America] is the largest tire market in the world, and we tire industry professionals do not have our own exclusive tire and retread expo,” the site said. “Now at the World Tire & Retread Expo we finally have our own tire and retread expo, a place where we can all talk tires and only tires. Our goal is to bring together tire and retread business professionals together so that they can buy and sell to each other.”
The World Tire & Retread Expo will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Admission to the expo will be free for all registered professional tire and retread dealers.
