Aaron’s Announces Sale of Rimco Stores

Aaron’s Inc. plans to sell all of the assets of its Rimco operations to Rent A Wheel/Rent A Tire. Rimco and Rent A Wheel/Rent A Tire stores offer consumers the sales and lease ownership of automobile tires and wheels.

"We feel that the sale of Rimco will be positive for both Aaron’s and Rent A Wheel/Rent A Tire," said Ronald W. Allen, president and CEO of Aaron’s.

Rimco currently operates a combined 32 company-operated and franchised stores in 11 states.

Rent A Wheel/Rent A Tire, based in Los Angeles, will now have 123 stores in 15 states. Rent A Wheel/Rent A Tire plans to continue to operate all the acquired Rimco stores and retain a majority of its employees.

Giti Tire Manufacturing awarded by Chester County Chamber of Commerce

Giti Tire said it has been a supporter of education, organized farmer’s markets and participated in community food drives.

Giti Tire Manufacturing (USA) received the Industry of the Year Award from the Chester County Chamber of Commerce. Among its initiatives, Giti Tire said it has been a staunch supporter of education, sponsoring the Giti Math & Science competition in collaboration with the Chester County School District since 2018.
