Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. will debut the Hercules Terra Trac HTS, its news consumer tire, during the SEMA Show.
The mid-range SUV/LT touring tire delivers traction and wear-resistance and ride comfort, Hercules said.
“The Terra Trac HTS gives dealers an exceptional value to offer consumers who are seeking a mid-range, highway tire for their SUV or pick-up. This is a tire that delivers all-around performance on paved roads – excellent traction, even wear and a comfortable ride,” said Joshua Simpson Hercules vice president of marketing.
The Terra Trac HTS features full-depth sipes that ensure all-season traction and maneuverability, and a wave pattern that supports water evacuation, reduces noise and inhibits irregular wear, the tiremaker said. In addition the wide footprint offers high traction and promotes even wear and prolonged tread life.
The Terra Trac offers a 50,000 mile (SUV sizes) or 45,000 mile (LT and flotation sizes) mileage warranty. The tire is also covered by Kercules’ road hazard protection warranty.
Currently the Terra Trac is offered in seven LT sizes, with 26 SKUs available in the first quarter of 2014. The wheel sizes range from 15 to 17 inches.
