One of the most difficult things about social media is keeping up with changes to even the basic platforms such as Facebook.
In most cases, the changes are good, such as Facebook incorporating searchable hashtags into conversation streams (which I covered in my June post) and Graph Search, a huge game changer that I covered in my March blog post.
But keeping with it all can be very daunting. I bet I get 30 to 50 messages a day about a new social media application or service. For this reason, I would like to share with you a few resources for Facebookthat I think are worth paying attention to; these people really know what they are talking about. If you are in charge of managing a Facebook community for your business or your clients, these folks can help you:
Jon Loomer
A self-described digital geek, Jon oversaw fantasy games product and strategy for the NBA. He began his blog as an interactive resume; then transformed it into a consulting and digital tutorials destination.
He specializes in Facebook marketing, ads optimization and metrics. Jon’s information is very detailed and geared for advanced Facebook marketers. I must say, I look forward to his posts with a mixture of fear and excitement. But if you are serious about leveraging Facebook for your business, Jon is one of the best.
