NAPA Rayloc Upgrades Brake Friction

NAPA Rayloc said it has upgraded the friction on all of its replacement disc brake pads with "the most modern, advanced formulas" available.

"Cars today are more technologically advanced and last longer than ever before," said Mike Gaffney, vice president of sales and marketing for NAPA Rayloc. "Our aftermarket friction formulations are ideal for today’s vehicles, by providing superior, long-lasting stopping power along with little to no noise and vibration – at a variety of price points. With this newly upgraded family, we are offering truly differentiated lines of brake pads, with superior friction, shims and hardware, plus OE-matched features for virtually every vehicle on the road today."

The newly upgraded line includes:

• Adaptive One, with dual ceramic formulated disc brake pads. The inner pad is formulated for optimal stopping performance while the outer pad eliminates noise and dust, NAPA Rayloc claimed. “The combination of two ceramic formulas helps the pads consistently adapt to a variety of driving styles and braking conditions, including wide temperature variations.”

• NAPA Ultra-Premium pads are available in both ceramic and semi-metallic formulas, and are available in formulations for fleet, police and other severe duty applications.

• NAPA Premium, which NAPA Rayloc said “offers the most extensive line of friction materials in the industry,” includes an array of formulations for long wear. They also provide silent braking with the company’s Silent Guard shim technology “for better stopping performance, smooth pedal feel and proper fit.”

• Proformer, which NAPA Rayloc said is “perfect for a good, solid brake job at a reasonable price;” these brake pads are available in both ceramic and semi-metallic formulations.

Many of these products come with matching hardware kits, NAPA Rayloc said.
