TIA Sets More Dates for ATS Training Tour

TIA has added dates in two more locations - Los Angeles and Toledo, Ohio - for its 2013 Automotive Tire Service (ATS) Instructor Tour.

TIA settled two more dates for its 2013 Automotive Tire Service (ATS) Instructor Tour.

Set are stops for April 30-May 3 in Los Angeles, and May 21-24 in Toledo, Ohio.

These four-day, hands-on training classes will educate tire retailers and tire techs on the proper safety procedures and guidelines for servicing passenger and light truck tire and wheel assemblies.

Other confirmed dates for the tour include Feb. 12-15 – St. Louis; March 5-8 – Ghent, W. Va.; March 19-22 – Phoenix; March 26-29 – Charlotte; May 7-10 – Boston; July 9-11 – Seattle; and Nov. 12-15 – Jacksonville.

Still to be scheduled are planned stops in Rochester, N.Y.; Pittsburgh; Milwaukee; Tampa; Oklahoma City; Minneapolis; and Houston.

Turbo Wholesale Tires recently held its annual open house event, where it introduced the new Lexani Volt-EC EV tire. However, as any of the hundreds of people in attendance will tell you, the event included much more than a tire launch. After registration, guests entered Turbo's new tire-filled warehouse, with half the space set aside for the tire companies and dealers, food and drinks, games and stage with a nearby pile of 89 prizes worth over $25,000.
