VDO REDI-Sensor Program Expands

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has expanded the VDO REDI-Sensor Program with the VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application Rubber Snap-in Sensor, P/N SE10001HPR.

“Just like the original metal clamp-in REDI-Sensor (SE10001HP), our new rubber snap-in stem version is ready to install right out of the box and pre-programmed to fit popular domestic and Asian vehicles. REDI-Sensor is designed to follow OE vehicle relearn procedures. No additional sensor programming or cloning steps are required,” said Steve Landis, Conti’s head of product management for TPMS & electronics innovation.

The VDO REDI-Sensor Program replaces more than 250 OE sensors with only four sensor SKUs and work with all major TPMS scan tools with no need to train technicians, Continental said.
