Uniroyal E-Book Helps Women With Tire and Car Care

Uniroyal spokesperson and savings expert Kim Danger has collaborated with automotive expert Ricardo Rodriguez-Long and Michelin North America to create a new e-book to help moms learn more about their cars and tires.

This e-book features tips on automotive maintenance, car safety and emergencies on the road, and can be downloaded for free at uniroyaltires.com.

“For most moms, their automobile is an important part of their daily lives, getting them to the grocery store, soccer practice, their kids’ school and the many errands involved with being a parent,” Danger said. “Looking for the best resource to be a savvy automotive consumer may not be top on their list.”

The new e-book features tips on tire selection and care, basic vehicle maintenance, child safety seat selection and use, handling on-road and other emergencies, dealing with sudden tire deflation and other driving situations, and more.

Danger is the founder of Mommysavers.com, one of the most popular Internet destinations and online forums for consumers, especially young moms. She is also the author of “Instant Bargains” and “1,000 Best Baby Bargains, and she has been featured in national and local media across the country.

Ascot Supply Corporation, based in Newnan, Georgia, has selected Mark Paquette for the newly created position of vice president. In this position, Ascot Supply said Paquette will oversee the growth of the company's products, corporate profitability, manage marketing and advertising and assume many other responsibilities.

He will work under the direction of current President David Kessler and officially begin his new role on June 3. Paquette joined the tire and automotive industry in the early 1980s at his father's tire shop, and his contributions to Mohawk Rubber Sales were instrumental in the company's growth and eventual sale to Myers Tire Supply in 2021, according to Ascot Supply. Paquette eventually was given a promotion to the role of director of operations at Myers Tire Supply.
