Toyo Names Nick Manning as U.K. Marketing Manager

(Staffordshire, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Toyo Tyre UK Ltd. has announced that Nick Manning has been appointed as marketing manager for the U.K.

Manning joined Toyo from respected wholesaler Group Tyre. Prior to serving there as director of purchasing for two years, he was general sales manager for Continental’s car dealer business unit. In fact, Manning progressed through a series of positions at Continental over an impressive 18 years including pricing, strategy and marketing before leaving for group.

“When searching for the ideal candidate we really were hoping for a time-served ‘tyre man.” explained Toyo U.K. managing director Tatsuo Mitsuhata. “We really feel that we have found that in Nick. Not only does he have extensive industry knowledge and contacts but also vast international experience and a buyers perspective that will help to shape our future marketing activity.”

“I’m delighted to join Toyo at such a promising time.” said Manning. “With so many new product and fitments being released next year, not to mention our OE and competition fitments, it’s going to be an exciting challenge. My aim is to grow from our current, strong position, maturing relationships with our customers and building on our foundations in the motorsport arena.”
