SEMA says that tires are a hot topic among those planning to attend the upcoming 2010 SEMA Show and Global Tire Expo. In all, more than 9,000 attendees are specifically interested in tires and tire-related products.
Among that group, SEMA said, more than 3,000 attendees specifically identified themselves as “tire buyers.”
The 2010 SEMA Show and GTE will be held Nov. 2-5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
For 2010, SEMA and TIA created the GTE, which is open to all segments of the tire industry, including consumer and commercial tires, retreading, recycling and more. More than 230 companies plan to exhibit at the GTE, including more than 20 first-time exhibitors.
The GTE will also include expanded educational session tracks targeted to the tire market. The tracks are TPMS at 10, Tires at 2, Truck Tires at 10 and Management at 4. Every day, each track will feature a session relevant to tire dealers and led by knowledgeable experts in the tire industry. The educational sessions will be located in the Skybridge between the Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
